Assalamualaikum and Good day!
It's been a good 29/12/2010 for Malaysia as Malaysia won it's first ever AFF Suzuki Cup 2010 after 14 grueling years.
Joy, laughter, excitement, screams, passion, criticism is all that we can witness during the finale of the prestigious cup. It's all down to Malaysia and Indonesia.
Both are well known to have handle quite a tough battle. Whether it is on the field or on the internet.
I think the amusing scenario about the cup is the countries. Malaysia and Indonesia. Why?
Malaysia and Indonesia have been fighting all along even before the independence. The disagreement between President Soekarno and Prime Minister, Tunku Abdul Rahman on our PM proposal on establishing Malaysian Federation.
Since that, all the dirt have been dig out whether by Indonesian press or Malaysian Press. Just not the press, the citizens are into it as well.
I just don't understand. The arguments and what sort.
The thing is Malaysia and Indonesia should be really grateful to be carrying the status as an Islamic country. It is a huge privilege as not many country are dared to carry the responsibilities as an Islamic country in this modernization world. Where westerners have greatly expanded their influences.
To be carrying the responsibilities to protect the sacredness of the Islam religion is the utmost responsibilities that has been inherited from the ancestors. I am honestly respect both country as able to maintain the belief until now.
But I do worried. I am sickly worried that if both country are always fighting cats and dogs. What will other religion think about Islam? Doesn't Islam carries the beauty of peace as the name it is? Islam means peace. After all, both are neigbouring country. We should help each other to prosper not to dismantle.
Why the needs of fighting? In the end, we all know where we all will end up to. Think again. Peace no war.
Malaysia and Indonesia. I pray may peace always will always surround both countries. Amin.
