My Name is Khan

Assalamualaikum and Good day.

As promised, I would like to share slices of the My Name is Khan movie.

The blockbuster movie is starred by both huge name in Bollywood that is Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol Mukherjee. I had waited for this movie since last year, thanks to my dearest cousin, Kak Shanaz. I am aware on the presence of this movie just lacking on the info on when it will be released. Thank God it's been released during Chinese New Year. So, buckle up. I watched the movie with my both best friends.

We were thrilled as this movie is starred by SRK and Kajol. hehe. No doubt about that.

Okay, lets cite on what this story is all about. In simple way, this story is about an Indian Muslim named Rizwan Khan (SRK) who has an Asperger's syndrome and lived in India at first and then moved to San Francisco. Asperger's syndrome is quite like he can't see yellow stuff and also can't hear too much noise. They will easily get angry. More about it, you got to watch this movie.teehee.

In San Francisco, he found Mandira(Kajol) which is Hindu and married her. After their nuptial, they began to face problems due to the 9/11 incident. The World Trade Center being crashed. It shows how Muslims all around the America is being treated after the incident. It is saddening to see how discrimination towards the Muslims during that time. You will find this movie interesting when SRK says "My Name is Kahn and I'm not a terrorist". As we all know, Kahn is a term to describe whether the person is a Muslim. Also the word that 'I repair almost everything' is quite funny too.

In short, we should give a huge praise to Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol as being very powerful in taking their acting seriously. Shah Rukh Khan really empower acting as an Autism person and Kajol is so lovely and never been a disappointment in the movie.

Okay. I guess I already spill too much on this story, you should go to the cinema and watch it okay. Berbaloi2 I tell ya! ;)

I'll story about Percy Jackson and the Lighning Thief in my next entry. Till then, adios and take care ^_^

Wake up in the night

Assalamualaikum and Good day.

It's been way a week right know we're enjoying holiday. I'm really grateful that I have been given such a wonderful life and I'm still breathing in this beautiful earth. My eyes still could open to see the lovely scenery. Also, given a piece of hope and energy to go on life and still could be able to perform solah. Alhamdulillah. Life is fulfilling.

Two days ago, I've been chatting with my father face to face about one hour plus2. We talked about life, social life and love all in once.It has opened up my mind a lot about life. My father kept reminding me to always be grateful to everything that Allah has given us. Never leave the solah as it is the pillar of life. My father kept saying that those who never been grateful in life will never fell complete in their life. They always feel like there is always something missing and never get enough of it.

Yes, they do gain happiness..but actually it is only for a temporary period of time. Once Allah wants to tarik all the nikmat away, Allah can do it in just pinch of time. Like Allah saying Kun Fa Yakun. I want to extract a sentence from the Quran..

[Yaasiin:82]
Sesungguhnya keadaan-Nya apabila Dia menghendaki sesuatu hanyalah berkata kepadanya:"Jadilah!" maka terjadilah ia".

In simple manner, when Allah berkehendak serta menghendakinya, dan pabila Dia telah menetapkan sesuatu maka Allah berfirman kepadanya: "Jadilah", maka jadilah dia. Begitulah beberapa ungkapan ayat-ayat kun [jadi] maka faya kun [jadilah] dalam al-Qura’an.

As a human being I'm also not perfect. Honestly, sometimes I overslept and miss my Subuh prayer. But that doesn't mean that I just need to let go of it. I feel like I'm carrying such a huge responsibilities and commitment. Responsibilities as a Muslimah and the commitment of being hamba Allah.

Life can be easy or hard depending on how we manage it. My father also told me to never 'menganaiya' a person and to always respect people. We should never ever look down on a person. There will always be a room for improvement for anyone. There are still chances for us to repent as long as we are still breathing..looking at it..I've become an open minded person.

I've always telling myself to never look down on people. Yeah, some do silly mistakes..but hey..they're just human being..I have encountered numerous personalities along my 20++ years of living and eager to see what my future hold for me..how does my husband look like? Is he someone that I've met or known before..only Allah knows.. :)

Stop on there, I've had drank two cups of movie on this week. 'My Name is Kahn' movie and 'Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief' movie. They are both just really great movies..still, there are lacking here and there...but then we should praise them on their effort of making such inspiring and educational movie. For me, personally I love both movie. They are both special in its way. Well then, I talk about the movie later. Got to study Spanish. Bye2 dandelion bloggie :)

Why left us girls wondering?

Assalamualaikum and Good day.

Hello. How are you all doing? Hope everyone is having a great day. I am sort of having a nice day..Achuumm!!! now I'm sneezing..huhu..actually I am encountering fever right now. Quite bad. I hope I will recover quickly as I had already promised my best friend Nadiah to go out with her and Nadia today. Hope this fever will go away..shhhuhh..More on that, I felt quite bad actually as my mom is having holiday today too..and she would like me to accompany her..but how can I fulfill it? I had promised my friend..Arghh..I'm torn into two..I should wake up early tomorrow and never sleep after that and spend some time with my mom. So that I could be fair to both party..it's hard..really..when you try to fulfill your loved ones request..I hope my mom understand..mama, I love you and I know you understand and knows me the best..

Oh yes..about my entry for today..Wondering? hmm, actually I come across my friends problem..they face some sort of problems with guys..yeah...I could say my friend is quite in love with their guys. They are facing some sort of dilemma...dilemma that for surely most girls will be facing. Letting us girls wondering.

Sometimes, girls and boys are having difficulties in understanding each other. As in famous english book that is Men are from Mars while Women are from Venus. Is this true? I guess it is. We are totally different in terms of physique and also emotion. We settle out things differently and have a totally different way of thinking. How to resolve this? Through understanding and communication.

Often, do us neglect on this matter. We neglect the importance of communication. Thinking that as long as we love each other that all that matters. But it is a wrong interpretation. By communicating more with each other, we can strengthen the bond and make both party understand each other better.

My friend issued that girls easily fall in love with guys who cares for them. This is so true. But then, some guys just being plain nice to girls and unexpectedly causing a girl become more confuse on her own feeling. As they say actions speak louder than words. My friend added that 'do not care about us too much if you don't love us'. If you love and like us just confess it. I do agree on this matter. Why left us wondering? It won't do you any harm, it just make things easier.

I am not blaming guys for their act of kindness. That is a bonus attributes to them. But as they say "Buat baik berpada-pada". People could take for granted everything that we've helped them and also could twist and turn things.

We all want to love and be loved. All in a proper way. Love is a really subjective matter. It is all up to us to choose. But only Allah will decide which is the best for us. Always berdoa and insyaallah may we all be happy with whoever we are with. :)

A Letter From A Christian to Muslim Women

Wow..just a few minutes ago..I pass this amazing article from Iluvislam. I hope it will bring benefits to others. Insyallah. Remember girls, you are the priceless pearl that have ever exist. :)

I see you as precious gems, pure gold, or the “pearl of great value” spoken of in the Bible (Matthew 13: 45). All women are pearls of great value, but some of us have been deceived into doubting the value of our purity.

Jesus said: “Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you” (Matthew 7: 6).

Self-Denial

Our pearls are priceless, but they convince us that they’re cheap. But trust me; there is no substitute for being able to look in the mirror and seeing purity, innocence and self-respect staring back at you.

The fashions coming out of the Western sewer are designed to make you believe that your most valuable asset is your sexuality. But your beautiful dresses and veils are actually sexier than any Western fashion, because they cloak you in mystery and show self-respect and confidence.

A woman’s sexuality should be guarded from unworthy eyes, since it should be your gift to the man who loves and respects you enough to marry you. And since your men are still manly warriors, they deserve no less than your best.

Our men don’t even want purity anymore. They don’t recognize the pearl of great value, opting for the flashy rhinestone instead. Only to leave her too!

Your most valuable assets are your inner beauty, your innocence, and everything that makes you who you are. But I notice that some Muslim women push the limit and try to be as Western as possible, even while wearing a veil (with some of their hair showing).

Why imitate women who already regret, or will soon regret, their lost virtue? There is no compensation for that loss.

You are flawless diamonds. Don’t let them trick you into becoming rhinestones. Because everything you see in the fashion magazines and on Western television is a lie. It is Satan’s trap. It is fool’s gold.

A Woman’s Heart

I’ll let you in on a little secret, just in case you’re curious: pre-marital sex is not even that great. We gave our bodies to the men we were in love with, believing that that was the way to make them love us and want to marry us, just as we had seen on television growing up.

But without the security of marriage and the sure knowledge that he will always stay with us, it’s not even enjoyable! That’s the irony. It was just a waste. It leaves you in tears.

Speaking as one woman to another, I believe that you understand that already. Because only a woman can truly understand what’s in another woman’s heart. We really are all alike.

Our race, religion or nationalities do not matter. A woman’s heart is the same everywhere. We love. That’s what we do best. We nurture our families and give comfort and strength to the men we love.

But we American women have been fooled into believing that we are happiest having careers, our own homes in which to live alone, and freedom to give our love away to whomever we choose. That is not freedom. And that is not love.

Only in the safe haven of marriage can a woman’s body and heart be safe to love. Don’t settle for anything less. It’s not worth it. You won’t even like it and you’ll like yourself even less afterwards. Then he’ll leave you.

Sin never pays. It always cheats you. Even though I have reclaimed my honor, there’s still no substitute for having never been dishonored in the first place.

We Western women have been brainwashed into thinking that you Muslim women are oppressed. But truly, we are the ones who are oppressed; slaves to fashions that degrade us, obsessed with our weight, begging for love from men who do not want to grow up.

Deep down inside, we know that we have been cheated. We secretly admire and envy you, although some of us will not admit it.

Please do not look down on us or think that we like things the way they are. It’s not our fault. Most of us did not have fathers to protect us when we were young because our families have been destroyed. You know who is behind this plot.

Don’t be fooled, my sisters. Don’t let them get you too. Stay innocent and pure. We Christian women need to see what life is really supposed to be like for women. We need you to set the example for us, because we are lost. Hold onto your purity.

Remember: you can’t put the toothpaste back in the tube. So guard your “toothpaste” carefully! I hope you receive this advice in the spirit in which it is intended: the spirit of friendship, respect, and admiration.

From your Christian sister 'with love'.

Kadang kala

Erm..tiba-tiba rase macam nak tulis Malay entry kali ni..nak wat something yg lain sket..adui..tp masih lg ske masukkan ayat2 english..mungkin da terbiasa..seb baek SPM da lepas..fuhh..

Kadang kala? kenapa saya letak entry tajuk ni..entahla..kadang kala kt rase rajin atau malas nak buat sesuatu..begitu juga ape yg saya rase..kdg2 terlebih rajin..kdg2 terlebih malas plak..pelikkan? hmm..

Tadi ade jawab quiz kat facebook...tentang siapa sebenarnyer adalah sy? Mungkin betul entry tue..sy seorang yang cepat berfikiran negatif..aduhai..sekarang ni pun tengah dalam usaha nak berfikiran positif..sebab sy taw..akibat terlalu memikir perkara negatif..lambat laun akan menjerut diri jugak..

Kebanyakan dalam quiz tue mmg betul..kdg2 rase diri x dihargai...tak taw la nape rase cmtue..sbb tue sy rase sy ni cepat sgt sensitif..sbb perasaan rase x dihargai tue mendalam dalam diri..terukknyee..aduhai..

Mcm mane nak berubah?? ada seorg teman memberi contoh kisah pengasas Genting Highland..Goh Tong..dimana beliau seorg yg pemalu, sensitif dan x berani nak ambil risiko..kiranya die seorg yg mudah terasa hati jugak...tp kerana sejak ayah die meninggal..die mula berfikir tentang mase depan..mase itu jugak die mengorak langkah untuk membina kehidupan yang baru...dan segala-galanya mula berubah..sy rase inspired sgt tentang kisah ini..

Cuba bayangkan..anda bukanla siapa2..tetapi satu hari tue..tiba2 anda berubah..menjadi seorang yg disegani, dicemburui dan dihormati oleh semua org..Kisah Goh Tong membuat sy berfikir berkali2..ya..sy mmg seorg yg pemalu..perkara itula yg paling sy tgh cuba berlawan sekarang..begitu juga dgn sifat sensitif..sekarang sy wat derk je ngan ape org nak ckp kat sy..yg penting sy fikir sekarang..ape yg sy nak sebenarnye?? sy nak hidup sy jd mcm mane??

Sy x nakla digelar org..NATO (No action, Talk only) huhu..so bila sy kata ni..sy akan buat betul2..dan sy benar2 maksudkannya! Chaiyok narah!! =)

Counting seconds...

Assalamualaikum and Good day

New year new resolutions. What about it? I presume that it is all about bettering ourselves. The clock is ticking and so do our years of life. We never know when will be our exact 'time'.Will it be next week, next month, next year or perhaps tomorrow?? My oh my..

Have you ever wondered? Sitting on your comfy chair and thinking alone about how your life gonna be ended? Is it gonna be a worthy or a worthless death? It might sound scary to some. Especially to those who enjoys life most. What about that doesn't? Do suicide is the best answer to all the misery??

It came out to me when I was watching an anime turned human movie that is the Death Note. Simplifying the story is that, the main character used a so called note book that is the 'Death Note'. The notebook is owned by a reaper or the person chosen by the reaper. In addition, the names that is written or how it will happen in it will certainly approach death. This movie appeals to me most as I believe that everybody has their own life span. In the Muslim belief, it is all stated in Luh Mahfuz..we will never know when, where or how our death will occur.

I have read an article about how wise someone can be if they think about death more. I do agree with it as when we think more about death, we will eventually do more good things, left the bad things and in short we will become a more productive and positive person rather than before. Things that I could conclude here is that you will be blossomed to be a new motivated different person doing all sorts of stuff.

I happen to notice a phrase through my favorite book "Chicken Soup for the Woman Soul" that is the 'bitterest tears shed over grave are the words left unsaid and deeds left undone'. The message behind this phrase is to say that it is really saddening to encounter death when actually you still have words to say and haven't done the things that you wanted to do.

For instance, you are close to your mother/father, sibling, husband/wife or even the ONE, you know that you have loved and cared for them enough. Maybe for you "action speaks louder than words". This is true but sometimes, even they know that you loved them so much but they still thirst or longing for a words of appreciation or love. This is because humans never really satisfy. We are created that way. With full of lust and desires. Straighten things up is to say that everybody sure love praises or sweet talks right? and so do the others..it will make ones day. So don't delay or being too rush on this matter. It doesn't cost you a cent to just reward the people that you love with a simple praise or words of appreciation. You will definitely instill the good feeling inside your loved ones and make you feel good about yourself too.

Apart from that, I have been exchanging ideas and talks with a sister which I met in my Pengurusan Kewangan dan Analisis Produktiviti course. She make me realize things as she ask me a few question. "Do you remember what your father or mother buy for you when you are at age 5?". I silenced. I barely remembers actually..it's been years. Then she asked again, "Do you remember where you father and mother brought you when you are at the same age?". I quickly answered yes. Then she simplify it by saying that how it goes with relationship between human beings. When you spend time or doing good deeds for people, they will remember. But when you showers them with materials that certainly didn't last, they will take it for granted. I learned quite a lesson that day. Now, I happen to appreciate and ensure that I spend time enough for my family, friends and my loved ones. I didn't want to miss a thing. I wanted them to know each moment that I really loved and appreciate them in my life.

Thinking death has open up my mind on thinking things far beyond. Have I done good deeds enough to make me a worthy inhabitant of Heavens?? We were so busy on doing stuff that we forget about our loved ones that has sacrifice a lot for us without asking for anything in return. Also, perhaps we were too busy for the people around us until we forget to cherish and sustain the relation between us and our Creator that has always look after us and given us all sorts of livelihood from the above.

It is a norm for us to seek for help when we are in trouble and also it is rare to seek for them when we are in happiness.

In a nutshell, there is still SO MUCH to do in life. We wasted all the seconds and minutes by saying how boring life has been or sleeping is the only way to forget about it. Well, it is wrong! You could make ones day brighter and you could change the world if you really wanted to! A small gesture is enough to say it all. You will LOST them if you take everything for granted. Don't blame on losing it and start to point fingers towards others. Just mirror ourselves because if you don't appreciate the people around you especially your loved ones, you certainly doesn't deserve them... That is why we lost them. It is just as simple as that. :)

Why eh??

Assalamualaikum and Good day.

Tik tok tik tok. It's almost the end of the year. For me, this year is quite a fruitful year for me. Why do I say this? For this year, I have proven to myself something. The small achievements of representing SIFE UMP and also playing Futsal in a competition has certainly instill enormous satisfaction in me. Although there is still lacking here and there as I'm still beginner in all this..for me, it is a fresh starts for something new..I am still training myself to be competent in managing each task given..

I've been killing most of my time at home by travelling. I meant actually travelling to shopping mall..hahha...I've been to several mall such as Subang Parade, Summit, Sunway Pyramid, Pavillion, Mid Valley, The Garden, KLCC and one theme park that is Sunway Lagoon. It was a blast! I've dedicated my entire holiday with my friends and family. Guess that kinda works in connecting me back with my old friends.Miss them a lot.

::Such a pretty Christmas Angel isn't it??::

Lately, I've been wondering..when walking by during my unofficial trip to most of the shopping mall in Kuala Lumpur..I've detected that when Christmas Eve is coming, they took two months or so to decorate it soo perfectly beautiful..but what about the other festive celebration?

I'm not discriminating the festivals, as I love the decoration of Christmas..but I am wondering..we are a country full of cultures and religion..I think that they should be fair in the utilizing the mall decoration to the fullest..just not focusing on only one stream of festivals. It's for the good of ethnicity relation. For me, it is best to just be fair and square.Don't you agree? :)
